Tourist operators inform that a trend is being now seen when during the long weekends, people go out of Jaipur to places like Ranthambhore, Sariska, and Pushkar. While people mostly from NCR region, Delhi, Agra etc come to Jaipur to spend their weekend in out of the busy and occupied capital.
Moreover, the ones who would like to spend a day in Pushkar, Ranthambhore etc will have to stay in Jaipur to get transportation from city to reach these places and anybody who comes to Jaipur visit Walled City market.
“It has become a trend these days, people from nearby places like Delhi, Agra come to Jaipur on a short weekend and this time, it was a long weekend,” said a tour operator. As Jaipur, Delhi and Agra are considered to be Golden Triangle in the tourism sector, most of the foreign tourist who comes to visit India have these 3 cities in their itinerary.
From October usually, tourism season is said to officially begin in Rajasthan. The weather becomes cooler and mornings are pleasant. Moreover, the weather of Delhi is polluted these days and this may also have given many people from the capital a chance to head out of it.
While relatives of many people who are based in Delhi are in Jaipur and this has given the people an opportunity to visit Jaipur this weekend. This trend will now be seen till the year-end.
Tourists will now keep coming to Jaipur firstly in marriage season. Many people who have marriages in their families buy jewellery, attires etc from the city’s Walled City market while towards the end of the year too, both Indian and foreign tourists come to Jaipur.
