People will bid farewell to BJP: Sachin Pilot

Rajasthan party in-charge and AICC general secretary Avinash Pandey in his address gave credit of party’s victory to the unity of party leaders and praised Pilot’s leadership who led the agitation against BJP government during the past four years.

The manner in which people have voted against BJP in recent by-elections, it is quite evident people will say farewell to it in the assembly election, said RPCC chief Sachin Pilot while addressing a gathering which was organized to felicitate Alwar MP Karan Singh Yadav, Ajmer MP Raghu Sharma and Mandalgarh MLA Vivek Dhakar at RPCC headquarters on Wednesday.

‘The Congress victory is an outcome of party workers’ dedication and unity who worked day and night. Those who are sitting in the power are influential and resourceful, but people have decided to choose Congress in the assembly election which works, cares for common man. The historical result of by-elections has boosted moral of the workers and all are committed to getting rid Rajasthan of misrule of BJP government,” said Pilot.

Rajasthan party in-charge and AICC general secretary Avinash Pandey in his address gave credit of party’s victory to the unity of party leaders and praised Pilot’s leadership who led the agitation against BJP government during the past four years. “ The party worked with sincerity during the past four years by launching agitations for public interest, which helped it attained victory in the by-elections. It was Congress’ farmers’ agitation which forced Raje government to waive off loans,” said Pandey.

Meanwhile, Pilot will be visiting Ajmer on Thursday. According to party officials, several programs have been scheduled in which he will be greeted for party’s victory in recent by-elections. Prior to departing for Ajmer, he will take part in a protest which the party will stage at Rajasthan assembly on Thursday morning against growing illegal sand mining and its black-marketing.

The party leaders for over a week have been protesting and accusing the government of allowing illegal sand mining which shot drastically after a ban on mining was imposed by the Supreme Court. This has caused depression in real estate and lakh of workers have been rendered unemployed while black-marketing of sand is going on without any check, alleged leaders.
