Congress workers need to take bypoll in Alwar and Ajmer seriously as it will impact assembly election slated next year, Rajasthan Pradesh Congress Committee president, Sachin Pilot said, calling upon local leaders and workers in ‘Mera Booth-Mera Gaurav programme’ in Alwar on Friday. A day back Pilot was in Ajmer where he extensively toured and campaigned the rural belt.

Pilot, who is into poll mode after chief minister Vasundhara Raje visited both the parliamentary constituencies recently, addressed workers and boosted their morale ahead of bypoll at the function in Alwar’s Tijara. Thousands of workers from Tapukhada and Bhiwadi along with Tijara were present at the function.

“The way general public is attracted towards Congress, it is quite visible that people have made up their mind and they will give their blessings to the party to serve them. Wherever we are touring, common people who are suffering of BJP government’s anti-people policies are extending their support and attending the programmes at large,” said Pilot here.

The party head further took a dig on the government’s celebration programme being held on the occasion of completing four years in the office. “BJP government has been in power for 4 years and it is celebrating this. Despite 4 years of rule, no work of development has been done in the state. Through this by-election, people have got the opportunity to show mirror to the BJP government,”added the PCC chief.
