Campaign for by-polls on Ajmer Lok Sabha seat has intensified. On one hand, PCC chief Sachin Pilot was leading the campaign for Congress in Ajmer north and south and on the other hand BJP candidate Ramswaroop Lamba was campaigning hard in women and child development minister Anita Bhadel’s constituency Ajmer south.

In urban areas, both the parties have been relying on road show and nukkad meetings. Women and child development minister Anita Bhadel alleged that Congress could not fulfill people’s expectation therefore the party is being rejected across the country. She said that Ramswaroop Lamba has entered politics to fulfill his father Sanwar Lal Jat’s dream.

Entire BJP is behind him and he will win with record votes. She also mentioned development works being done in her constituency claiming that under the leadership of chief minister Vasundhara Raje, the party is focusing on people’s welfare and doing fast development.

State Congress president, Sachin Pilot though accused the BJP of resorting to politics of dynasty. He said that people have been troubled in last four years under BJP’s rule, which is why the party has fielded son of late Sanwar Lal Jat to get sympathy votes.  However, he said that people are wise enough and are asking the BJP questions as to why this election is not being fought on the issue of development.

He claimed that people wants change and Congress candidates would win heavily in Ajmer, Alwar and Mandalgarh.
