Doctors say that in most of the nervous system related diseases in children, caution and timely care is the most effective aspect of the treatment.
Children are rapidly getting affected with modern lifestyle and changes in food habits as cases of neuro-related diseases in children are growing.
Some time ago, epilepsy was the only common disease in children, but nowadays Neurological diseases, which used to be once related with elders, are becoming common amongst children as well.It is not only leaving parents worried but also a matter of concern for doctors.
According to neurosurgeons, diseases mainly found in children these days include epilepsy and fits, childhood paralysis, brain damage at birth and congenital neuralgia “Congenital disorders related to neuro are also increasing in children,” neurologist Dr SP Patidar said. “Symptoms of neuro related diseases can be seen clearly. If the baby did not cry at the time of delivery or is born with distorted organ including hands, feet, eyes, ears etc,even at the age of 1-2 years child is unable to grip objects like toys, pencil etc or does not react to any kind of sound, hints neuro problem,” he added.

Crying of a baby at the time of delivery is the first important thing. If a baby does not cry at the time of delivery he is probably at risk of neuro-related disorder at birth.
Doctors suggest that soon after the birth, the head of the baby has to be examined carefully, in order to see if any wound or scar is there.
