Meeting with CM ends RSS chief’s state visit

The RSS chief, Mohan Bhagwat, had a packed schedule on the last day of his Jaipur visit. While the highlight of the day was his much speculated, in political circles, meet with the chief minister, but the RSS supremo met with sangh functionaries and also paid visits to their homes to establish the direct connect. All this was done through three meetings on the last day of his visit.

Bhagwat reached Adarsh Vidya Mandir, Ambabari early in the morning at 6.30am, where he met swayamsewaks at the basic unit of the RSS; the shakha. He also met the mukhya shikshak and karyawahs of the city unit of RSS. He spoke to the 200 strong gathering and asked about their opinions and problems. He also gave them insight into his future plans for the swayamsevak in the coming times.

Next on his agenda was a visit to the house of Gaindalal Saini, the karyawah of Jaipur. Bhagwat stayed there for around 40 minutes and had breakfast too. Along with breakfast many issues related to state and city were discussed.

Bhagwat then held a meeting with chief minister Vasundhara Raje at Bharti Bhavan. The chief minister arrived at the state RSS headquarters and was received by Jaipur prant pracharak Limbaram. The discussion as per sources focussed on the affairs of the state and society. According to sources, during the meeting, Bhagwat asked the chief minister about the work of the state government. Raje informed Bhagwat about the flagship schemes and work of the state government. Raje gave details about the various schemes including religious site development plan, senior citizens pilgrimage tour plan and CM Jal Swavlamban Yojana.

Bhagwat told Raje about the problems of nomad families and Raje assured the Sangh chief that they would be resolved immediately. Sources added that organisation and social issues were also discussed.
