The reach of social media among the younger population is not lost in todays times. Taking cue from the popularity of social media sites, the Ajmer Police on Wednesday issued an advisory, on Twitter, to those students who are waiting for their Board results.

This comes in view of numerous instances of suicide among the students due to failure in examinations. The Ajmer police come up with an advisory just a few hours before the RBSE was to release the 12th board examination results on Wednesday.

Addressing the students, it said, “Marskheet mahaj kagaj ka tukda hai, magar tum kisi ke dil ke tukde ho, koi galat kadam mat uthana , ank phir mil jayega, zindagi nahi.” Marksheet is a mere piece of paper but you are more valuable for your family. Do not take any wrong step as marks can be obtained again but not life.
