Two days Lokanuranjan fair commenced in the Town Hall on Tuesday presented by Rajasthan Sangeet Natak Akadami. 650 artists from across the state will be presenting the art of folk dance, music and instruments.
Academy secretary Mahesh Kumar Panwar told that artists from Jodhpur, Bharatpur, Barmer, Alwar, Padarla, Pali, Kirnod, Laxmangarh, Bhakrani, Udaipur, Kishangarh, Chacheda, Dhaulpur, Pabusar, Haryana, Churu and Shahbad Baran performed on the first day.
Sahria Dance by Shahabad, Bhapang Vadan by Yusuf Khan, Peacock Dance by Deeg, Terahtaal by Padarla, Langa by Kohinoor Langa, Lal Aungi by Uttam Baledara, Dandiya gair by Gordhanram Kirnod, Teen Dhol by Bankiya Shyamaram, Kutchi ghodi by Dilawar Jodhpur, Nat kartab by Ramjeet Jodhpur, Bam vadan by Shashibala Laxmangarh, Bhopa-Bhopi by Suganaram Bhakrani, Magician Usman, kathputli Bharti Lok Kala Mandi Udaipur, Puppet show by Prem Bhat Jodhpur and Veena Dance by Haryana Ranbir Sodha, presented their art on Tuesday.
Kalbelia dance of Jodhpur’s Sua Devi, Ghumar chari dance of Virendra Singh of Kishangarh, Chakri dance of Jankilal of chacheda, Khari-Ring dance of Banne singh of Alwar, Peacock dance of Deegh’s Ashok Sharma, Terahtali dance of Ganesh Das of padrala, Garasia dance of Mayaram of Abu Mountains, Children gair of Radhasheyam, Balotra, dhap dance of Gopal ram of Pabusar, Kutchi ghodi of Puru Mirasi of Jodhpur, Govind Mirasi’s three dhol thali, Nat kartab of Ramjot of Jodhpur, Puppet dancing on behalf of Bharti Lok Kala Mandal, Been dance of Haryana’s Ranbir Sodha, Shukar dance of Beejaram of jalore, and Deru dance of Churu’s Akram Khan will be centre of attraction on Wednesday.
