Jhotwara acid attack victim gets relief

The district legal service authority, Jaipur has decided to give Rs 3 lakh compensation to the acid attack victim in Jhotwara. Full time secretary Satyaprakash Soni informed that a team of the legal service authority went to the hospital and helped her family to file the application for the compensation.

It may be recalled that Reshma (name changed) was attacked at the Triton Mall on Wednesday allegedly by one Mehboob who was bothering her for quite some time and had also wanted to marry her. During the attack, the accused also sustained injuries. The incident happened hours after the state Home Minister claimed in the Assembly that crimes against women had reduced.
