Jaipur: Two held for bomb hoax

The city police arrested two persons on late Thursday night for creating bomb hoax. The duo had reportedly made a call at the police control room and warned of a bomb at Jaipur railway station. Even as the police held the call as suspicious, the Jaipur railway station was scanned with help of RPF, GRP, local police and dog squad. The platform, railway tracks, connecting pedestrian bridges, waiting room and passenger luggage all were searched for explosives.

As no bomb was found at the station, the police tracked down the call and reached the accused. However, one of them was discovered to be mentally challenged while other is his uncle in relation. The Sadar police detained them and further investigations are being held in the case
