Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s proposed visit has done one good thing. Like the first showers of the rain brings the ants out of the earth, the Janpath is teeming with Jaipur legislators, cabinet ministers and the city mayor.
The venue in question has already been visited by the Jaipur MLAs Mohan Lal Gupta, Surendra Pareek, Arun Chaturvedi and Ashok Parnami. The Jaipur MP, Ramcharan Bohra didn’t just visit the Amrudon ka Bagh but has woken up to the fact that the city needs to be cleaned up.
He organised a cleanliness drive as a part of the build-up to PM visit. Jaipur mayor Ashok Lahoti has also been sighted at the venue like a migratory bird on a scheduled mission before it takes the next exit out after hibernation is over, which in this case is the assembly elections scheduled later this year.
