Officials disposed of as many as 1,879 cases on the first day of the two-month campaign, ‘Nyaay Apke Dwar,’ organised by the Jaipur District Administration.

Siddharth Mahajan, Jaipur district collector, informed that 194 cases were disposed of at the level of sub-divisional officer, and 1,485 cases were settled at the camps organised at Tehsildar level.

He further informed that the revenue courts organised at Sub-Divisional Officer level camps dealt with partition on mutual consent, road blocks, and stone grafting among others. Similarly, courts organised at Tehsildar level camps were mostly related to account maintenance, separation of accounts, and LR Act 135, Mahajan added. In addition to this, 650 cases of ‘other non-accounting’ category were resolved. A copy of 370 revenue records were also provided.

This is the fourth phase of ‘Nyaay Apke Dwar’ campaign, under which the government aims to provide relief by organising camps at Gram Panchayat level. On the same lines, 15 camps will be organised across the district on Thursday.  Mahajan informed that for Sarnachoudh gram Panchayat and Annopapura gram panchayat, the camp will be organised at Atal Service Centres of the area. The camps will also be organised at Devgaon, Mahadevpura, Didawat, Dudu, Chainpura, Murlipura, Lalwaas, Hanutpura, Kairali, Bhaloji, Surund, and Ramsinghpura Sanganer.

SDO’s to take additional charge

The state government has empowered Divisional commissioners and collectors to give additional charges to sub divisional officers (SDOs) if the areas in which they are posted have vacant posts of RAS officer. Government took this step to provide sufficient manpower to the local administration to run ‘Nyay Aapke Dwar’ (Government at your step) campaign. It has been felt at the government level that the campaign may be badly hit as many posts of SDO are vacant due to shortage of RAS officer’s strength. Hence, the posted SDOs should take additional charges for smooth run of the campaign.
