The police has arrested three people Tejaram, Vidhya Devi, Sugna Devi but the absconding Nathuram Jat accused in the case of the shooting police inspector S Periapandian of Maduravoyal police station in Chennai on a lime kiln located in Ramawas village of Jaitaran, Here, the FSL team and the Ballistic expert reached the spot and examined the crime scene. The team investigated that if Nathuram Jat snatched the revolver of the police inspector intentionally shot him or accidentally fired on Periapandian.

The Chennai team previously told that Periapandian was killed by Nathuram but the Pali Police had feared that Periapandian was shot due to the team’s mistake. The Joint Commissioner of Chennai police, Santosh Kumar, also reached Jaitran. He got full details of the incident from Jaitaran CI Virendra Singh and CI PM Munishekhar of Chennai Police. Pali Superintendent of Police Deepak Bhargava told that The scientific investigation of the firing during the capture of the accused and the death of Chennai Police Inspector Periapandian has started. The Pali Police has handed over the arms of both inspectors to State Forensic Laboratory so that it can be ascertained as to what pistol the bullet was from and from how much distance it was fired.
Forensic and Ballistic Expert also started the investigation this morning.Three police teams were mobilized under the leadership of police officers Jatran, Anandpur Kalu and Ras Thanprabhari is in search of the accused. The teams have searched hotels and highway motels near Jaitaran. The accused reportedly pulled out Pandi’s revolver from the holster and shot at him. Jat managed to get away.
Search operation
The railway stations and bus stands of Beawer, Ajmer, Jaipur, and Pali were also searched.
Jaipur Airport was also searched due to the possibility of escaping of the accused from the airplane to Chennai-Bangaluru.
