Into its third leg, Rajasthan Gaurav Yatra enters Kota division

The third phase of chief minister Vasundhara Raje’s Rajasthan Gaurav Yatra will start from Friday from the famous Kyasra Mahadev Temple in Jhalawar district. In the third leg, the CM is scheduled to visit Kota division between September 14 and 17.

Preparations are in place for the yatra that will now cover a distance of about 500 km while passing through different assembly areas of four districts of Kota division. The entire responsibility to ensure that the yatra is well-managed and is a success, Minister of State for Education Vasudev Devnani has been given the responsibility of the Kota division. Apart from him, agriculture minister Prabhu Lal Saini, PWD minister Yunus Khan, Food and Supply minister Babulal Verma and BJP office-bearers and public representatives have been camping in Kota division to get the preparations done for the yatra. There are 17 assembly constituencies in the Kota division and during Gaurav Yatra, Raje will address 12 public meetings in 12 assembly constituencies. Apart from this, the yatra will be welcomed at various places.

To start from her own constituency

CM Raje will start Gaurav Yatra from her own constituency of Jhalawar in the Kota division on Friday. Raje will go to Jhalawar by helicopter on September 14 at 9.30am from Jaipur airport and reach Kolana airport in Jhalawar at 10 am After reaching Jhalawar, Raje will visit the ancient Kyara Mahadev Temple and after taking part in puja she will start the yatra The first public meeting of the Kota division will be held in Dag. Jhalawar MP Dushyant Singh and other ministers have reached Dag on Thursday to prepare for the public meeting.  There is a target of bringing of more than 30,000 people at the public meeting.

Public meeting at Ramganj Mandi

After the public meeting at Dag, the chief minister will fly for Ramganj Mandi, where a public meeting is scheduled at 1pm tomorrow. After that, another public meeting will be held at Aklera of Manoharthana assembly constituency of Jhalawar district. CM Raje will reach Aklera by helicopter at 2.30pm. A huge public meeting will be held in the agricultural market premises of Aklera. From here, Raje will ride Gaurav Rath to reach Jhalrapatan in the evening via Arnia, Ametha, Aasan and Ruparel. Chief Minister’s night stay will be in Jhalawar city.

The CM will visit Baran District on September 15 where she will address a public meeting at Chhipabarod and Atru. In the evening there will be a public meeting at Samrania. Soon after, Vasundhara Raje will reach Baran and the very next day she will head to Mangrol.

Two Projects Inaugurated

As implementation of model code of conduct is nearing, the government is on a spree of  inaugurating developmental and infrastructure projects. On Thursday, two projects were launched  in Jaipur. While forest minister Gajendra Singh Khimsar inaugurated the Lion Safari in Nahargarh Biological Park, CM Vasundhara Raje, through video conference, inaugurated a bridge running parallel to Kota Barrage.

Jhalawar MP Dushyant Singh and other ministers reached Dag on Thursday to prepare for the public meeting. There is a target of bringing more than 30,000 people at the public meeting.
