Khanna held meetings with members of working committee in Sanganer, Civil Lines and Kishanpol assembly constituencies.
Under the three-day ‘Pravas’ programme of Bharatiya Janata Party(BJP), State Incharge Avinash Rai Khanna arrived in Jaipur on Tuesday. Khanna took meeting of organisation office bearers in three assembly constituencies.
During the meetings he gave the slogan Booth Mazboot-BJP ki JEET to the workers. Every booth should have 21-member working committee and Panna Pramukh (page in-charge), he insisted. If our booth is strong, BJP’s victory is sure, he emphasised.
Khanna held meetings with members of working committee in Sanganer, Civil Lines and Kishanpol assembly constituencies. Former office bearers were also invited to these meetings. He said that inactive members should be personally contacted and activated by the organisation. He emphasised upon booth management and said that booth is the smallest unit of the organisation. Therefore, this unit should be strengthened. At the booth which has not yet been constituted, the 21-member executive will be formed immediately. Khanna said that the work of connecting all sections of society with BJP should be done. Local BJP MLA Ghanshyam Tiwari did not attend the organisational meeting of Sanganer assembly constituency. Tiwari had announced to boycott all meetings of the organisation two years ago. Jaipur mayor Ashok Lahoti took charge in the absence of Tiwari. Khanna called upon the workers to put together all the preparations and make BJP win in the upcoming assembly and Lok Sabha elections.
Khanna told media that there is no plan for change in Cabinet and state BJP leadership at the moment.
Focus On Polls
Party’s full focus is to make BJP government in Rajasthan again in 2018 elections. Khanna will attend meetings in Vidyadhar Nagar, Jhotwara, Jamwaramgarh, Shahpura, Viratnagar, Kotputli assembly constituency on Wednesday.
