Although community leaders have formed a council to take action and decide on the way forwards in the alleged fake encounter of gangster Anandpal Singh, during the rally at Sanwrad on Wednesday, a difference in approach among the members of the council in addressing the crowd was witnessed.

While a few members gave agitating speech which was welcomed by an equally pepped up crowd, others tried to pacify the crowd and even requested them to remain disciplined. Several times, the members made the crowd swear on Anandpal’s name to not get violent, but the words did not have the desired effect, but only created a confusion in the crowd which prevented the council’s desire to make the crowd fall in order.

Former minister Rajendra Gudha made a fiery speech while his brother Ranveer Gudha, a minister in Congress government, was seen trying to manage the agitated crowd. During his speech, most times Ranveer Gudha was seen asking the people to behave. He even urged the people not to make it a party related matter and to keep it within the Rajput community claiming that party politics will damage the entire agitation. Interestingly, his brother Rajendra Gudha  called to the crowd to teach a lesson to the ruling party. Karni Sena leader Sukhdev Singh Gogamedi asked the crowd if they were ready for agitation and to leave BJP, the crowd jumped to their feet and roared to the man’s call. Meanwhile Karni Sena Supremo Lokendra Singh Kalvi although asked the gathering to be ready for agitation till the demands are met, he also urged them that the council which has been formed shall decide on the future course after consulting with Anandpal’s family and only then shall any course be taken in a proper way. Kalvi tried hard to calm down the nerves of the youths sitting near the dias, but failed.

There was an apparent difference in how the council members were approaching the situation.
