Hadauti region of Rajasthan offers opportunities in abundance for monsoon tourism with Bundi located centrally, which turns into a hill station with its three sides surrounded by Aravalli hills wrapped with thick greenery along with innumerable waterfalls and brooks of crystal water. The state government and the tourism experts strongly feel the need to take effective measures to promote tourism during the monsoon season for three months to expand tourism chart in the region that witnesses maximum tourists’ footfall only for six months from October to March in a year.

The cities of the region turn into hill stations during monsoon and offers sites of nature’s beauty that is beyond one’s imagination. These spots should be furnished with safety and security measures while paving a safe way to these destinations for the tourists to promote tourism in monsoon,” said Brijesh Vijayvergya, an environmentalist and wildlife lover in Kota. The assistant tourist officer, Bundi Prem Shankar Saini said, “Larger areas of natural landscapes in the region fall in forest area so eco-tourism can also be promoted with it.”
A 13 pointed proposal to promote tourism particularly in monsoon season in Baran district was sent to chief minister Vasundhara Raje in November 2015, but unfortunately no action on it has been taken yet.
