Addressing thousands of Anganwadi workers and Asha Sahyogini at SMS investment ground, who had come to thank her for budget announcement in which their honorarium has been increased, Raje said: “Women of the state are capable of confronting every challenge and are able to face them and are making full contribution in furthering the country and state with their families. We are continuously moving towards making women fully empowered so that women can play a greater role in the development of the state.”

She also called upon women working in different areas to fully utilise their power and strength.

This would benefit 1.84 lakh women. Now, Anganwadi workers will get Rs 6000, Mini Anganwadi worker Rs 4000, Sahayika Rs 3000, Sathin Rs 3300 and Asha Sahyogini Rs 2500 every month.”

Raje further spoke that that her government is also working on the development of Anganwadi centres while taking care of Anganwadi workers. “4,500 Anganwadi centres have been developed in the past one year, where children are getting good facilities and better pre-school education. 1,000 nursing training teachers will also be recruited for various projects relating to child development.”
