FOB collapse in Mumbai disrupts NWR train traffic

The collapse of a part of foot overbridge in Mumbai’s Andheri area, affected train traffic of NWR region. This  has affected the travel plans of passengers who were travelling from Jaipur, Jodhpur and Bikaner and other cities to Mumbai. Five trains were either cancelled or partially cancelled after the incident happened in Mumbai.

Chief public relation officer of NWR Tarun Jain informed that train number 12980 Jaipur Bandra Terminus Express will terminate at Valsad while 12979 Bandra Terminus Jaipur Express will also operate from Valsad.

Similarly, train number 12215 Delhi Sarai Rohilla Bandra Terminus Garib Rath will also operate till Borilvali and will move back on return journey to Jaipur from Borivali itself.

The train 14707 which runs between Bikaner and Dadar  is being terminated at  Kandivali while the Jodhpur Bandra Terminus Suryanagri Express will be running till Dahanu Road railway station.

Another train 22473 which runs between Bikaner and Bandra Terminus will also operate till Valsad.

NWR has also advised the passengers that they should check the current position of the trains and its running status by either using SMS service 139 or by checking on the website of the railways.
