RCA is like a never ending soap opera. When it semed that revocation of BCCI suspension on RCA was a mere formality after RCA decided it would take back the case against BCCI, the episode has now taken a new turn.

City’s additional district court number 4 has dismissed RCA plea to take back the case against BCCI. In a heairng on Monday, the court also rejected the application letter moved by joint director of RCA Mahendra Nahar who is currently working as acting secretary of RCA.

Court while giving the order said that RCA executive commitee only had apointed joint secreatry Nahar to take back the case. He does not get the right to take back the case as he was not authorised by the general body.

As such the application letter stood dismissed  by the court.

Notably on June 24, in its first meeting, the executive committee headed by president C P Joshi had suspended Lalit Modi led Nagaur cricket association from the membership of RCA.

In doing so, it had also suspended RS Nandhu who was the elected secretary of RCA from his post thereafter on the same day.

After removing Nandhu, Nahar was given the charge of secretary of RCA. When the team of RCA was in Mumbai to present their case in the meeting of BCCI, the team was informed that if they take back the case against BCCI, the ban on the suspended cricket body will be revoked.

After that the preparations started to take back the cases to allow cricket’s entry back in Rajasthan.
