Medical and health minister Kalicharan Saraf on Monday targeted the Congress by saying that the party had laid the foundation of corruption and mismanagement in Rajasthan. Now, how is the Congress dreaming of returning to power? he asked.

While addressing media persons after the jansunwai programme of BJP workers at state party headquarters, Saraf said that during the 70 years, the Congress government gave Rajasthan only seven medical colleges, while the BJP government opened eight medical colleges in four years.

Medical colleges will commence from July 1 in the state’s five districts. The BJP took forward Rajasthan under the leadership of chief minister Vasundhara Raje, while the state’s growth was stalled under Gehlot government.

Due to many schemes like Bhamashah Yojana, Bhamashah Health Scheme, farmers’ debt waiver, toll tax waivers, skill development, free medicines, Gramin Gaurav Path, Annapurna Bhandar,  Annapurna Kitchen, among others have helped the ordinary citizens of Rajasthan.

Saraf said that during the Congress rule, the then Union Minister Lal Chand Kataria had to sit on a dharna against the government of his own party. The BJP will again make the government in the state, he added.
