Congress has always stirred caste politics: Ashok Parnami

BJP state president Ashok Parnami has targeted Congress for its fast (Upwas) against violence. He has been described the Upwas (fasting) of the Congress as Uphas (joke). BJP state president released the statement on Monday and said that under Congress rule Dalits were exploited. Parnami raised the question that why Congress did not fast on the killing of 358 Dalits and Dalit oppression in Karnataka? “ Public has understood the truth of Congress.

After fast, the plate of Cashew-Pistachio breakfast was seen on the table of Congress leaders,” said Parnami. “The dual character of Congress is proven by the fact that on April 2, Rahul Gandhi had saluted the agitators for the movement and now is doing politics of fast,” said Parnami.

According to Parnami’s statement, “ Congress did not do any good to the oppressed and the poor. Congress has always provoked caste politics. During the time of former Prime Minister Indira Gandhi, there was a massacre of Sikhs in Delhi, why didn't Congress fast during that time?” Parnami alleged that Congress spreads animosity in the society. While the BJP works along with everyone, moving on the concept of development, taking all sections and castes together.
