CM Vasundhara Raje’s Gaurav Yatra to cover 174 constituencies

Starting from August 4, meetings will be held at 135 locations

Chief minister Vasundhara Raje’s Rajasthan Gaurav Yatra will go to 174 assembly constituencies across the state. During the yatra, public meetings will be held at 135 locations. The yatra will cover an average of 150km daily. The yatra will begin on August 4 from Rajsamand’s famous Charbhuja Ji temple, where a huge public meeting will be held.

A meeting of Rajasthan Gaurav Yatra state committee was held at the BJP state headquarters on Monday and the programme of the two divisions of was finalised. The committee has released the programme of the Udaipur division of the yatra to the organisation leaders. The programme of other divisions will be released shortly. The Chief Minister will start Udaipur yatra after visiting the Charbhuja temple on August 4 at 11am.

On this occasion, a huge public meeting will be held at Rajsamand’s JK Stadium, where apart from Raje, Amit Shah, BJP State President Madan Lal Saini will address the gathering. The BJP’s has set the target for the party’s Rajsamand district unit to bring one lakh people to the meeting. The rest of the workers will be brought from Udaipur, Dungarpur and other nearby districts. “The yatra of the Chief Minister would be of 40 days. During this, she will go to 174 assembly constituencies across the state and address 135 public meetings. All the preparations for the yatra have been completed,” said Home Minister and coordinator of Rajasthan Gaurav Yatra Gulab Chand Kataria.

The CM’s yatra will cover the Udaipur division in seven days. During this, Raje will go to 23 assembly constituencies and will cover 886 km and hold 18 public meetings. The public meeting will be held in those assembly areas, where the CM has not yet held Jan Samwad programme.
