CM Vasundhara Raje raises poll fever in Marwar

Chief Minister Vasundhara Raje sounded poll bugle in Marwar on Saturday claiming to come back in power with a majority from Jodhpur – the home town of former chief minister Ashok Gehlot. She called upon party workers and office bearers to work together for the strengthening of the party hometown of former Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot.

Party workers to start working on the field while taking feedback about Jodhpur legislators from BJP officials and workers in the circuit house. She started a new tradition by encouraging workers for open house discussions without any hesitation. The feedback session was important as no minister or MLA was present there. To keep the things confidential in this meeting, no office bearer was allowed to carry mobile phones.There were dissensions against the sitting MLAs among the party workers. When asked about the report card of MLAs in the presence of city BJP president Devendra Joshi, rural president Bhopal Singh Badla and Phalodi district President Rewat Singh, the board heads across the district openly voiced against MLAs and ministers. 

They said that neither minister nor any legislator give heed to them (workers). A large number of ticket contenders also met Raje and presented their stake. They counted failures of sitting MLAs and cautioned her against repeating them. The chief minister said that the public will answer any public representative who does not work.

“In the last elections, Congress suffered as its MLAs and ministers got cut off from the public,” she said. In this meeting of office bearers, legislators were not allowed to enter. She motivated workers till booth level to strengthen the party and hit the roads to share government’s policies and developments among the public. 

In this meeting, Raje receive All the officials and legislators were told to visit their areas before the commencement of the Chief Minister’s Yatra next month. After this meeting, Raje held public hearing for the first time during her tenure at Jodhpur Circuit House.With hearing problems of common people, she also gave necessary directions to the concerned officers. She went to each complainant and met them with personally. Raje met Jodhpur division’s Police IG, Jodhpur Commissioner, Rural SP, DCP West and East before leaving for Jaipur and instructed the officers to resolve complaints of people.
