Jhunjhunu is going to receive a national award for best results in Beti Bachao Beti Padhao.
Chief Minister Vasundhara Raje arrived in Jhunjhunu on Wednesday to take stock of preparations for Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s scheduled visit here on International Women’s Day on March 8. After arrival, Raje straight away went to the venue of PM’s rally and instructed officials not to leave any stone unturned in preparations. She told them to have provision for adequate and proper arrangements for shades, water and parking on the rally ground.
Jhunjhunu is going to receive a national award for best results in Beti Bachao Beti Padhao. Also, the district has performed well in Apna Bachha, Apna Vidyalaya and the PM had praised Apna Bachha Apana Vidyalaya in Mann Ki Baat.
Women and child development minister Anita Bhadel said that PM Modi would also launch Rs9046 crore national nutrition mission from Jhunjhunu. “He will extend this mission nationally. The scheme is to ensure that no person remains malnourished by 2022. It is our good fortune that the PM is launching the scheme from Rajasthan,” she said.
Transport minister Yunus Khan said that the CM has given instruction and accordingly work would be completed in time. He has instructed PWD officials to complete work in time as per the CM’s instructions.
Chairman of Sainik Kalyan Board Prem Singh Bajore, Chief Secretary N C Goel, DGP OP Galhotra, ADGP NRK Reddy, and SPG officials held meeting with district officials and gave instructions.
‘Work In Time’
District collector Dinesh Kumar Yadav, SP Manish Agarwal, MP Santosh Ahlawat, MLA Shubhkaran Choudhary and Narendra Kumar, district president Rajiv Singh, Chairman Sudesh Ahlawat & media head Purushottam Khajpuria were also present. PWD officials are instructed to complete work in time.
