CM Vasundhara Raje and Gautam Adani meet to discuss power issues

Industrialist Gautam Adani met chief minister Vasundhara Raje on Tuesday. The meeting which lasted for about an hour took place in the residence of the chief minister. Sources informed that matters pertaining to power sector were discussed. Prior to meeting Adani, Raje also met principal secretary of energy department Sanjay Malhotra and discussed about the current scenario of power sector.

Adani had in past also met the chief minister to discuss power sector related matters and this is not the first time that he has come to Jaipur to meet Raje. The company has power plant in Kawai (Baran) which is one of the largest power plants in Rajasthan with a generation capacity of 1320 MW (2X660 MW).

The company also supplies power to the power producers of the state and plays an important role in power generation in the state. This apart, the company is also developing solar parks in Bhadla and in Fatehgarh and Pokhran. In Bhadla IV solar park the capacity is 500MW while in Fatehgarh and Pokhran plant of 421 MW is being developed.
