Chief minister Vasundhara Raje vows to solve Dausa’s drinking water woes

Chief minister Vasundhra Raje said on Thursday that the proposed Eastern Rajasthan Canal Project ( ERCP) will solve the drinking water woes of Dausa. Starting the Rajasthan Gaurav Yatra from Dausa on Thursday, Raje said that she has thanked the prime minister Narendra Modi for assuring the state about this project and said that the central water commission has given the approval for the project.

Prime minister Narendra Modi during his visit to Jaipur in beneficiaries programme in July had assured to consider the project.

Raje also mentioned about giving electricity connections to every single home in the state by March 2019 and said that the work of Dausa Gangapur railway line will be completed by June 2019.

Raje said that like other BJP ruled states like Gujarat, Madhya Pradesh and Chattisgarh, development in state was running on track since last 4.5 years and now it should not be derailed so that Rajasthan could enjoy fruits of development. Notably, in these states BJP government has been elected consecutively and Raje at other places has said that the trend of changing government after every elections should stop and BJP must be voted in power again for continuous development of the state.

Like other places, in Dausa too women were present in large number. Raje addressed them about the various schemes meant for women specially in the state and gave details of Rajshri scheme, giving cycles, scooties, laptops and scholarships to girl students,  apart from other schemes. She reminded the people that her government had made women of the house as head of family and had started Bhamashah scheme to empower women. She mentioned that in the state for the safety of girls law was passed to give death punishment to the offenders of rape and said that 3 offenders have already heard this sentence.
