Chalo Chalo Pachpadra’ goes viral as BJP woos people

The occasion of foundation laying ceremony of the refinery in Barmer’s Pachpadra has got the locals excited and songs in local language has become a way to show not only their excitement but also their creativity.

One such video uploaded on YouTube by singer Ashok Prajapat which has become a talking point in the state and the “refinery song” has been gaining popularity on social platforms.

The song titled “ Chalo Chalo Pachpadra 16 January” these days has been creating buzz on various platforms. The song starts with praising Prime minister Narendra Modi and his efforts in bringing prosperity in the country. It then informs the listeners about the foundation laying ceremony in Pachpadra on January 16 and invites the people saying,” mai bhee aa raha hoon , aap bhee a rahe ho kya , pata hai aur kaun aa raha hai ...Narendra Modi,” Prajapat.  “Pachpadra mein refinery ro shilayanas hove see” the song goes on to narrate the benefits of the refinery.

The song has already been viewed 5851 times, till Wednesday evening, and the song has videos of Pachpadra in the background right from the entrance into the city .Rajasthan already has the tradition of folk songs and there have been songs written in praise of gods like Khatu Shyamji or local deities like Om Banna and this refinery song is a new chapter in this book. Meanwhile. BJP in Barmer is leaving no stone unturned and is approaching the people to invite them to the ceremony.

On Wednesday, BJP MLA from Pokaran Shaitan Singh went across the town and invited people by distributing “peeley chawal”  which is considered a traditional way to welcome guests on auspicious occasion. “ We are inviting as many as people from here for the ceremony and I went to the town today(Wednesday),” said Shaitan Singh speaking to dna.The locals are already expecting a lot of visitors on this day and logistic arrangements for the visitors, guests, re being made by the local tourist guides.
