According to the case, after the controversy over the derogatory remarks made by Salman Khan in a TV show, Naresh Kandara of Valmiki community in Jodhpur filed a case against him and Shilpa Shetty. Subsequently, Salman’s advocate Mahesh Bora and Nishant Bora had filed a petition for quashing the FIR under section 482 in the said case.
