The case was today lodged on a registered post-complaint by one Avinash Kumar Chandana, a resident of Delhi.
Bundi City police on Thursday lodged a case against ex-union minister Bhanwar Jitendra Singh and two others under various sections of IPC allegedly for stacking his claim over the erstwhile Bundi state property by producing counterfeit and forged will papers of Bundi state.
The case was today lodged on a registered post-complaint by one Avinash Kumar Chandana, a resident of Delhi. On the registered post received earlier this month, police today lodged a case under sections 420, 467, 468, 471 and 120 (B) of IPC against Bhanwar Jiterndra Singh, and two others Srinath Singh and Vijendra Singh, both residents of Bundi, CI Bundi city Ramnath Singh said. Chandana in the complaint claimed Rao Ranjeet Singh, the last member of Bundi royal family before his death declared him his successor with the property papers under his name. Bhanwar Jitendra Singh in conspiracy with the two other fabricated forged and counterfeit will papers and stuck Jitendra Singh’s claim and possession of the property, Chandana alleged in the complaint, the CI said.
Notably, Avinash Kumar Chandana was one of the very close friends of late Ranjeet Singh, the last member of Bundi royal family. Ranjeet Singh also reportedly spent his last days at Avinash Chandana’s residence in Delhi and eventually died in January 2010 leaving no inborn successor of Bundi royal state. Bhanwar Jitendra Singh, the ex-union minister and members of Alwar royal family is the son of Ranjeet Singh’s only sister Mahendra Kumari and thus he is in Bundi accepted as the legal successor of the royal family and property. Avinash Kumar Chandana earlier also filed a case on property issue.
