Following the defeat of the by-elections, the ruling BJP has come into action mode. The BJP leadership took a class of mayors, zila pramuks and chairperson of the Board, Commission and Corporations on Monday and asked them what they did in the last one year. State BJP has asked the mayors, zila pramuks and chairmen to report the work in the last one year.
There were two meetings at the BJP state headquarters on Monday. In the first meeting, Boards, Commissions and Corporation Chairpersons were involved.In the meeting, 40 out of 48 members were included. After this meeting of mayor and zila pramukhs was held. Jaipur mayor, Ashok Lahoti did not attend the meeting as he was in Delhi. The meeting was addressed by National Joint Secretary(Organisation) V Satish, General Secretary(Organisation) Chandrashekhar and State President Ashok Parnami. The defeat at the by-elections was also discussed. During the meeting, Chandrashekhar learned about one year’s tenure work from all the party leaders.
He instructed to submit the report of the work done in the year to the state headquarters within 10 days. V Satish said that you are all the public representatives, so our obligation and responsibilities towards the public increases. After the meeting, the BJP state president told media that the meeting discussed the defeat of the by-elections. After doing so much development and public welfare by the State Government and the Central Government, there was no victory in the by-elections. The party chief has claimed that BJP will complete the Mission 180 and Mission 25 in the forthcoming assembly and general elections and will again form the government in the state.
