Markets in Bundi city remained closed on second day on Tuesday as district administration failed to pacify people who were angry for not taking any action against those of a particular community involved in stone pelting over Ramnavmi procession on Sunday night.

The district administration however claimed to have a common agreement assuring the markets would be opened by Wednesday morning. Bundi MLA Ashok Dogera, however refuted the allegation of mild action against those involved in stone pelting incidents.

The markets in the city would be opened by Wednesday as common agreement on the matter was reached upon in evening, Dogera assured. Eleven of the accused, five for stone pelting and six others from majority community were produced before the court that ordered judicial custody to them.
