BSF Inter-Frontier Support Weapon Competition -2018 concludes

DIG A.K. Sharma,  announced the closing ceremony of 48th Inter-frontier Support Weapon Shooting Competition in the Kishangarh field firing range near India-Pakistan border. On this occasion, DIG Naresh Kumar, DIG Jaisalmer( South), Sanjay Kumar, Regional Headquarters Jaisalmer( north), Dalbir Singh Ahlawat Commandant, Ratan Lal Bagdiya Commandant,  Tejender Pal Singh Sidhu and all officials, Subordinate officers and soldiers were present.

11 frontiers participated in the competition, who introduced war skills by targeting on the aim with their serpent Weapon 81M.M. Mortar and Medium Machine Guns. In the 81 MM Mortar Competition, frontier headquarter Rajasthan stood first whereas Frontier headquarter Gauhati and frontier headquarter Gujarat got second and third place.

Frontier Headquarters, Tripura stood first the Medium Machine Gun Competition, Frontier headquarter Gujarat stood second and Frontier headquarters Jammu received third position Gujarat Frontier Headquarters achieved the highest position in the overall competition

DIG Sharma while addressing the officers and soldiers said that support weapons are very important in any force and this kind of competition plays an important role in war skills. After this, the Chief guest honored all the winning teams in both the categories and encouraged them.
