Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has made some changes in the schedule of the party's ongoing feedback programme being held for the selection of probable candidates for the upcoming Assembly elections on Monday. The programme will not be held on Wednesday at Ranakpur town of Pali district due to Maha Ashtami festival. The party has reduced the programme from four days to three days and now the feedback for Kota and Udaipur divisions will conclude on Tuesday.

Meanwhile, on Monday, the second day of the programme, senior BJP leaders took the opinion of party office bearers and public representatives of 35 Assembly constituencies for the probable candidates. During this, some BJP workers shouted slogans against the chief minister Vasundhara Raje.

The BJP had started the feedback programme from October 14 in Ranakpur and on the second day on Monday, feedback was taken for probable candidates of Jodhpur division's 26 Assembly seats and 9 Assembly seats of Kota. Six teams of the BJP State Core Committee were formed and the feedback was taken for the seats of different districts.

The committee took information about the probable candidates from the organisation office bearers, public representatives and board and various commission chairmen from each assembly constituency. This apart, the sitting legislators presented their names for the ticket claim for assembly elections.

The organisation office bearers and public representatives wrote the names of three probable candidates on a slip of paper and then put it in a sealed ballot box. Some organisation office bearers have given single names too.

Feedback was also taken for the three Assembly constituencies of Pali district on Monday in Ranakpur. During this time some BJP workers who were not invited for the feedback meeting reached the venue upon which they were stopped. This made them angry and they started shouting slogans against the chief minister. Later senior party leaders tried to pacify them.

Now on Tuesday, the opinion of the party organisation will be taken for the probable candidates of 36 Assembly seats in Udaipur and Kota divisions on Tuesday.
