The BJP leaders took stock of the work done to welcome the party’s national president from Jaipur Airport to Totuka Bhawan.
With preparations in place, on Thursday rehearsal was carried out by the BJP to ensure things fall are carried out as planned during Amit Shah’s two-day visit to Jaipur. Shah will be in the city on July 21 and 22. The BJP leaders took stock of the work done to welcome the party’s national president from Jaipur Airport to Totuka Bhawan. State president Madan Lal Saini, national joint secretary (organisation) V Satish, state general secretary (organisation) Chandrashekhar and other BJP office bearers reached the airport at 11 am and checked on the preparations. BJP leader Narayan Singh reached Totuka Bhawan and inspected preparations for the state working committee meeting.
The state president Saini said that Shah will reach Jaipur on July 21 at 1 pm and will leave for Delhi on July 22.
The workers from different assembly constituencies will welcome the party’s national president at seven locations between the airport and Totuka Bhawan. “What arrangements have been made at the airport and other places to welcome Amit Shah were reviewed. Shah will be attending the meeting of state working committee on July 21 and will also hold a meeting with social media volunteers. The next day, on July 22, he will have a discussion with the state office bearers,” said Saini.
Moreover, before Shah’s visit, the announcement of the state executive will not be made. The meeting of the state working committee will begin at 5 pm at Totuka Bhawan on Friday and will include members of the current state executive. The BJP state president said that the meeting will include new and old party leaders.
In the meeting, some workers will be special invitees and will also have permanent members. Amit Shah will address the concluding session of the meeting while CM Vasundhara Raje will address the inaugural session. Before the meeting of the working committee, a meeting of all the district heads and district incharges will be held at Totuka Bhawan.
