Even before Chief Minister Vasundhara Raje’s Rajasthan Gaurav Yatra gets rolling, the BJP MPs will go on “Pravas” to each assembly segment of their Lok Sabha constituency. They will also take out small yatras in their area. A meeting of party MPs was held on Saturday at the BJP state headquarters for the preparations for the Chief Minister’s Yatra.

Chief Minister’s Rajasthan Gaurav Yatra will start from August 4. But as a precursor to it, BJP MPs will go on tour in their area to campaign for the succes of Chief Minister’s Rajasthan Gaurav Yatra. BJP state president Madan Lal Saini and Deputy Convenor of the yatra Ashok Parnami addressed the meeting organised at BJP State Headquarters on Saturday. After the meeting, Saini said that party MPs have been given the responsibility of Rajasthan Gaurav Yatra. MPs must go on a “Pravas” for one day in each assembly segment of their respective parliamentary constituencies. All MPs will actively participate in the yatra as a common party worker.

Former state president Ashok Parnami also addressed the party’s MPs at the meeting. He instructed all MPs to mobilise the preparations for the yatra. He also gave the responsibility to MPs to bring the crowd during the CM’s Yatra. Many MPs, including Om Mathur, Kirori Lal Meena, JK Alphonse, Vijay Goyal, Bhupendra Yadav were not present at the meeting. State Chief Minister Saini clarified that there is a conference of MPs belonging to Scheduled Tribes in Delhi. This is the reason why many MPs did not turn up. Rajya Sabha MPs are also busy in important tasks.

Confusion in Congress over CM

While interacting with the media, BJP state president Madan Lal Saini targeted the Congress. Saini said that there is no consensus on the issue of the chief minister in the Congress. That’s why there is so much confusion in the party. Congress leaders are making statements against each other. In the BJP, the unanimous leader is Chief Minister Vasundhara Raje. Reacting to former Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot’s “Kuraj Yatra” statement, Saini said ‘Kuraj’ is the place where people’s welfare is not done. The Raje government has a long list of welfare schemes carried out for the people.
