Dhiraj Dham, a guest house in Nathdwara, turned into a temporary residence of chief minister Vasundhara Raje on Saturday night. The guest house is in the same vicinity as that of Shrinathji Temple and Raje did a night stay here.

Sources informed that she even held a meeting of police and local administration during late evening on the day. Raje had come straight to this guest house after darshan at Eklingji. Energy minister Pushpendra Singh also visited Raje at the guest house. One of the gates of Dhiraj Dham was being controlled by police while it was from the other gate that visitors were allowed to enter.

The meeting was conducted at the top floor of the guest house while heavy police was deployed down stairs in a similar fashion as it is done at the chief minister residence in Jaipur. The alleyway at Nathdwara was literally converted into a fortress.
