AU Bank SMS Gold Vase Polo from Jan 7

AU Small Finance Bank has stepped into the polo arena with the starting of Jaipur Polo Season this year. This is the first time that the bank has tied up with SMS Gold Vase Polo Tournament, which is now known as ‘AU Bank SMS Gold Vase’ Polo Tournament.

The 8-goal tournament is scheduled to be held from January 7 to 13 at Rajasthan Polo Club. It will witness the ‘AU Bank Jaipur Polo Team’ led by Jaipur royal family’s Padmanabh Singh (+3). Other players of the team will include Abhimanyu Pathak (+5), Vikramaditya Barkana (0) and Akshay Malik (0). The jersey of ‘AU Bank Jaipur Polo Team’ was also unveiled.

Sanjay Agarwal, MD & CEO, AU Small Finance Bank, said, “We are delighted to have HH Padmanabh Singh as the captain of our team who is the youngest member ever of a World Cup polo team.” 

Padmanabh said, “It is indeed gratifying that an organisation of the stature of AU Bank has chosen to promote Jaipur’s heritage game of polo.”
