Nomination filing process for 200 Assembly constituencies in Rajasthan will begin from Monday and end on November 19. Candidates have seven days to file papers barring November 18, which is Sunday, a government holiday.

Rajasthan Chief Electoral Officer (CEO) Anand Kumar said that papers will be filed between 11 am to 3 pm daily. "Scrutiny of the papers will take place on November 20, and nominations can be withdrawn till November 22. Polling will take place on December 7 and results will be announced on December 11," the CEO said in a release.

About the conduct at the time of filing nomination papers, the CEO said that three vehicles of a candidates are permissible in 100-metre radius of office of returning or assisting returning officers and the candidate may be accompanied by maximum four persons.

He has directed officers to monitor entire process of nomination papers filing with CCTV cameras and instructed police officers to maintain law and order.

Meanwhile, applications for names to be included in the electoral rolls must be disposed off soon so voters can use right of franchise, said Mahajan. Issuing an order the collector has invoked prohibitory orders in the revenue boundaries of the district except Jaipur police commisionerate area. "The prohibitory orders in revenue boundaries of the district come into effect from 12am on November 12 to December 13," said the collector.
