The election commission (EC), that was in Jaipur on Saturday, reviewed poll preparation in the state on Saturday. Chief election commissioner OP Rawat, commissioner Sunil Arora and Ashok Lavasa reviewed the preparations and discussed issues of law and order, and general administration with the chief secretary, DGP, divisional commissioner's of Jaipur Bharatpur Ajmer and Jodhpur along with other officers and police personnel.

For the first time in the state, EC will be deploying accessibility observers. These observers will aid differently-abled people inside the polling booths. Also, it is for the first time in the country that these observers are being deployed starting with elections in Chattisgarh. Regarding the law and order arrangements, commission has informed that webcasting of specific polling booths will be done so that free and fair elections and voting can be conducted. 

The commission has also given directions regarding stopping of misuse of money and giving of gifts and liquor during the election process. Moreover, this time there will be specific polling booths managed exclusively by women.
