While addressing the press conference at BJP’s headquarters, Khan said that Gehlot has become the convener of the Congress’s hollow rhetoric and is making unrestrained statements to stay in the discussion every day.
Taking a jibe at former Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot, Public Works Minister Yunus Khan took a jibe on former said that he (Gehlot) is not able to give up the lure of the chair in the state. Even after receiving huge responsibility in the centre, he is coming to Jaipur and making a rhetoric.
While addressing the press conference at BJP’s headquarters, Khan said that Gehlot has become the convener of the Congress’s hollow rhetoric and is making unrestrained statements to stay in the discussion every day. “Gehlot has come to the Assembly only two times in the last four years. It would be great if he will raise issues in the House instead of making rhetoric out loud. He has nothing to do with public issues.” said Khan. While dismissing the demand for resignation of CM Vasundhara Raje, Khan said that Gehlot should take retirement from politics. “If Congress General Secretary has any ethics left in them then they should retire from politics on the historic defeat of Congress in Rajasthan. Under his leadership, the Congress party got reduced to 21 seats in assembly,” added Khan.
Khan continued his verbal attack and said that BJP MPs are observing a day-long fast as part of a protest over the recent washout of the Parliament session. The Congress leaders have adopted a completely irresponsible attitude.
They do not have any issue to raise in parliament. Khan alleged that the “Yuvraj” of the Congress party goes on the overseas trip and learns from someone and comes here back to take undemocratic steps. On Mahatma Gandhi, Khan said that Congress has no copyright on him.
