Former Rajasthan chief minister Ashok Gehlot who is currently the in-charge of the Congress party’s election preparedness in Gujarat has revamped the entire team in Gujarat by appointing 160 observers from Rajasthan. What is more interesting is that Gehlot has appointed 65 observers alone from Jodhpur which is a clear indication that he has been given a completely free hand by Rahul Gandhi.
Leaving nothing to a chance Gehlot has put his most trusted brigade, including Sunil Parihar, Ramesh Borana, Rameshwar Dadhich, Suresh Vyas, Shravan Ram Patel, who are considered very close to Gehlot. After appointing them as observers and all met Rahul Gandhi and took over the command.
In spite, all of this what is being echoed by the members of Congress Jodhpur is that why Suparas Bhandari and Jodhpur city Congress president Saeed Ansari who are considered as a close ally of Gehlot were not called as an observer in Gujarat.
The reason sighted behind this is that Gehlot has started ignoring them because they are getting close to former minister Rajendra Chaudhary who is considered as anti-Gehlot personality.
Gehlot, who is considered as Chanakya of politics, has put his full strength in Gujarat assembly elections. That is why the BJP is putting its whole strength now in Gujarat and Chief Ministers of BJP-ruled territories including Rajasthan are also being called for meetings in Gujarat. PM Modi is coming to Gujarat for the fourth time on Tuesday. Those who seemed confident in Gujarat have got alerts of the people of Gujarat somewhere.
The assembly elections are to be held in Rajasthan. If the Congress party performs well then it is confirmed that Gehlot’s political height will be increased.
