AICC general secretary and two-time CM Ashok Gehlot has accused the Raje government of ‘false’ publicity of development works to misguide people of the state which is set to go to polls in December. He also blamed the government for being passive to current water crisis across the state and ambitious schemes and projects which were launched by him.

“No significant works have been carried out in any field by the state government so far. Indeed, the Raje government has dumped and weakened people-welfare oriented schemes launched by previous Congress government,” said Gehlot in a statement released.

He claimed that Raje’s government performed well in education and health sectors is a blatant lie. “Medicines being supplied in Free Medical scheme have failed in the tests, according to the media reports, though the government is continuously purchasing such medicines from the companies. Why this is happening needs to be probed. Similarly, eligible and deserving are facing hardships in getting benefits under Food Security Act and Social Security Pension,” said Gehlot.

He also accused Raje and her government of not to pay attention to growing water scarcity crisis in State and the situation is worsening despite the claims regarding Jal Svavlamban Abhiyan.
