The ghost of 108 ambulance scam has come back to haunt the Congress party as on Monday the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) filed a chargesheet against Ravi Krishna, son of former union minister Vayalar Ravi, and private company Ziqitza Health Care for alleged irregularities. Interestingly, the CBI has kept investigation pending against Rajasthan’s former chief minister Ashok Gehlot and former minister and current PCC President Sachin Pilot.

CBI has today filed a chargesheet against Ravi Krishna, Director of M/s.Ziqitza Health Care Ltd, Mumbai; Ms. Sweta Mangal,the then CEO of the company; Amit Antony Alex, the then employee of the company and the said company before the Competent Court, Jaipur, on the allegations regarding operation of ambulances in Rajasthan. Further investigation is continuing,” said a press release issued by the CBI.

Filing the chargesheet for cheating (420 IPC), forgery of records (466 IPC), forgery for purpose of cheating (468 IPC), using a forged document as genuine (471 IPC) and punishment for criminal conspiracy (120 b), the CBI has named Ravi Krishna, Amit Antony Alex of Ziqitza Healthcare Mumbai and the then CEO of Ziqitza, Shweta Mangal as accused in the chargesheet.
