Agitating Jaipur City Transport Services Limited staff to boycott work

In coming days, Jaipur people may face trouble while commuting by low floor bus service as Employees of the Jaipur City Transport Services Limited (JCTSL), who operate the low floor buses are on hunger strike.

They may boycott work or go on strike if their various demands are not met by the management of JCTSL.

In a press release issued by the employees of the company who are sitting on hunger strike, it has been informed that the state government and management of JCTSL are not sympathetic to their demands and they may be forced to go on work boycott or strike. Tuesday was the sixth day of their hunger strike.On Monday however, JCTSL management had met the agitating employees of the company .

The officials of JCTSL had informed the employees that the salary of one month has been paid on March 26 and the pending salary of February will be given after getting the funds from the state government. The company heard the demands of the employees and informed them about the cases of employment on compassionate grounds have been sent to the administrative department.  The employees have been demanding the pending salary and other things.

• The employees have been demanding the pending salary, apart from this, they are also demanding regularization of employees on probation, uniform allowance etc. 
• In a press release, it has been informed that the management of JCTSL are not sympathetic to their demands.
