Sharma has not been appointed under the Rajasthan Cricket Association constitution and therefore the purported arbitral proceedings as well as the purported award passed by him does not have any legal effect.

After a brief lull, the Rajasthan Cricket Association (RCA) office-bearers have resumed their internecine battles. This time the first salvo was fired by the CP Joshi group which installed its own man Azad Singh as treasurer, claiming that incumbent Pinkesh Jain’s election has been declared null and void by RCA arbitrator Shiv Kumar Sharma for furnishing false information.
Pinkesh, on the other hand, dismissed the Joshi group claims as baseless. “The documents Azad Singh is flashing are all doctored. He must first tell me how can their group follow orders given by Shiv Kumar Sharma as his appointment has already been cancelled by the RCA ombudsman and the high court.
Sharma has not been appointed under the Rajasthan Cricket Association constitution and therefore the purported arbitral proceedings as well as the purported award passed by him does not have any legal effect. It is a completely a farcical exercise,” Pinkesh said, adding that he will hold a press conference on June 13 (today) to clear the matter.
He said that his election was challenged before the Permanent Arbitral Tribunal and Justice KS Rathore (chairman) decided the matter and passed an award on August 16, 2017 that my appointment as RCA treasurer is valid.
Azad Singh clarified his appointment and termed it as completely credible. “A complete legal procedure was followed and only after that Pinkesh Jain was removed from the treasurer’s post,” Singh said during press conference.
