91 wards of Jaipur cleaned during Swachhta drive

This campaign was renamed as “Kachra Jaipur Chodo” and cleanliness work was done by city BJP functionaries and councillors in all the 91 wards of the city.

Jaipur city unit of Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has conducted a special cleanliness campaign on Sunday under the Swachhta Hi Seva Campaign launched by Prime Minister Narendra Modi ten days ago. This campaign was renamed as “Kachra Jaipur Chodo” and cleanliness work was done by city BJP functionaries and councillors in all the 91 wards of the city. During this, cleanliness was done in hospitals, religious places, cremation grounds, and public places.

With the determination to make the city garbage-free, the BJP workers started cleaning works at 91 wards of the city at 8am. Part workers cleaned various places for two to three hours. BJP city president Sanjay Jain told that the cleanliness campaign is being organised on behalf of BJP across the country from the birthday of Prime Minister Narendra Modi from 17 September to October 2 i.e. Gandhi Jayanti. Under this campaign, BJP workers are doing cleaning and Seva works at different places. Under this initiative of the party, Jaipur city unit started “Kachara Jaipur Chodo Abhiyan” on Sunday. 

During this, about 100 tonnes of garbage was collected. Various hospitals, religious places, cremation grounds, parks and public places of the ward area of all 91 wards were cleaned by BJP legislators, councillors, state and district office bearers, party workers and local residents joined. 

Notably, Prime Minister Narendra Modi had launched ‘Swachhta hi Seva Andolan’ on September 15 under Swachh Bharat Mission. On this occasion, the PM informed about the efforts made in the field of cleanliness in the country during his address.
