8-yr-old raped by neighbour

An eight-year-old girl was raped in Dausa late on Monday night. The victim, hospitalized in JK Lon hospital, underwent a surgery on Tuesday and is under observation. Meanwhile, Dausa police have arrested the accused, a neighbour of the vicitim.

The girl from Ramgarh Pachawara police station area, was alone at her home as her parents had gone to see her ailing grandmother who was hospitalised. Bablu Meena, they victim's neighbour sneaked in and committed the crime. He earlier lured her kin into buying chocolates. Hence the victim was left alone in the house.

“Her parents were shocked to see the girl bleeding profusely. Police were informed and the girl was rushed to the district hospital, from where she was referred to Jaipur. Police have arrested the accused,” Prakash Sharma, Additional SP told DNA.

In Jaipur, the girl was brought to JK Lon Hospital. “We conducted an emergency surgical procedure today that lasted for over one-and-a-half hours. Doctors have done first step of complete repair for vaginal injuries she had suffered. Post operation she is in surgical ICU and her condition is stable now. Doctors are keeping a close watch. She is out of danger now,” Dr Ashok Gupta, superintendent at JK Lon Hospital told DNA.
