3 IAS of Rajasthan cadre return to Delhi on central deputation

Darbari stayed in Rajasthan for two years and held important responsibility of agriculture department.

Three IAS officers of Rajasthan cadre were sent to Delhi on central deputation in the first week of December. Senior IAS V Srinivas, Shubhra Singh and Neel Kamal Darbari have been given posting in Delhi after their short stint in the state.

Darbari stayed in Rajasthan for two years and held important responsibility of agriculture department. She came from Delhi after working in disaster management authority and was given charge of principal secretary of agriculture department in February 2016.

It was during her working tenure that state government organised its one of the biggest agriculture events “GRAM”in November 2016 and later she was given the charge additional chief secretary in the same department. In Delhi she will be managing director of small farmers agri business consortium. V Srinivas stayed in Rajasthan for a little more than a year. He had come from Delhi from department of health and family welfare in June 2017 and was made chairman of tax board. He was later made chairman of board of revenue in Ajmer. Now, he has moved back to Delhi as additional secretary, department of administrative reforms and public grievances. Shubhra Singh who has now been on central deputation in Delhi was already posted in Delhi but under state cadre. She was currently posted as principal resident commissioner and had last worked iin Jaipur between 2010-11 as director of census.

She moved to Delhi in 2011 on deputation and remained in various departments. Now, she has been made chairperson of national pharmaceutical pricing authority, a regulatory body that controls the price of pharmaceutical drugs in the country. However, with the new government taking over in coming days, there will be another bureaucratic reshuffle.

Another Reshuffle In Offing

  • Senior IAS V Srinivas, Shubhra Singh and Neel Kamal Darbari have been given posting in Delhi.
  • Few months ago, senior IAS Rohit Kumar Singh retruned  to state cadre while Sunil Arora, retired IAS from Rajasthan cadre was appointed as chief election commissioner. 
  • With the new government taking over in coming days, there will be another bureaucratic reshuffle.
