100-feet national flag to fly high at Jaipur Railway Station

In the list, the name of Jaipur station is also present. Apart from Jaipur, the national flag will also be installed at Ajmer and Jodhpur stations.

A 100-feet national flag will soon adorn the premises of Jaipur Junction. Indian Railways had recently announced to install 100 feet national flag at 75 busiest stations of the country.

In the list, the name of Jaipur station is also present. Apart from Jaipur, the national flag will also be installed at Ajmer and Jodhpur stations. Giving the information, chief public relation officer of NWR Tarun Jain informed that the work of installing the 100 feet national flag will be done by end of this year. 

He informed that all the code of conduct which are required to be considered while installing the flag will be adhered to. He said that the national flag will be kept in complete light. It has been decided that Railway protection force will be providing security to this flag.

Jaipur otherwise has one of the tallest flags in the country as Central Park in the city has a 206 feet flag and is looked at with a feeling of pride by the people passing on the road or the ones coming to for a morning walk. Jaipur station has continuously being beautified in recent years and it has achieved the second position in the cleanliness survey report 2018.

The survey was conducted on broadly 3 main points. One method was of analyzing the cleanliness in main consumer interface area like parking, main entry gates, platform, waiting rooms etc. The second was direct observation of cleanliness in an open area, in toilets, sitting area, railway tracks and such places while the last and most important was getting feedback from passengers.

Moreover, the visitors and passengers coming to Jaipur junction are now seeing a beautified railway station. The project of concourse renovation at Jaipur Railway station, with an objective of beautification of existing concourse to welcome tourists to the state capital and also to improve and facilitate passenger comfort, was completed and now the concourse hall is open for public use. An energy efficient fan of 24 feet diameter had also been installed in the hall which has already become a center of attraction.
